CAD Operator will be responsible alongside the project co-ordinator and design team for producing details and co-ordinating interior drawing packages & delivery to appropriate deadlines. Your role will also include various other duties and responsibilities listed below: - Manage drawing production packages, project timings, records and drawing protocols. - The ability to develop and fully detail all elements of interior projects based on pencil sketches / concept images via hand drafting or CAD - Experience managing the coordination of drawing packages and processing information to the drafting team.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing the coordination of drawing packages and processing information to the drafting team. - 5-7 yrs of work experience in a similar design office role. - An in depth knowledge of internal joinery, fit-out and construction of hospitality, leisure and F&B projects. - The ability to work to tight deadlines as part of a multi-disciplined team producing work to the highest design standards. - Maintain and manage drawing efficiency of numbers and production. - Fluent spoken and written English essential. Previous experience working in a design team and cad drafting production would be essential along with extensive detailing knowledge. REQUIREMENTS - Freehand sketching of design details. - Considerable experience of interior joinery and construction detailing. - Preferable basic autocad experience / understanding. - Management experience of working with small team
